Returns & Refunds Policy

We hope you'll be delighted with your Barsham Brewery order. Every beer is carefully brewed, packed and dispatched from the Barsham Estate, and we take great care to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
If something isn't quite right, we're here to help. This policy explains how returns, refunds and replacements are handled for purchases made through our online shop.
Returning an Item
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving it.
If you wish to return an unopened item, please contact us before sending it back so we can advise you on the returns process.
Returned items must:
Be unopened and unused.
Be returned in their original packaging where possible.
Be in a resaleable condition.
Unless the item is faulty or supplied in error, the cost of returning goods is the responsibility of the customer.
Damaged or Faulty Items
We take great care when packing every order, but occasionally damage may occur during transit.
If your order arrives damaged or you believe a product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:
Your order number.
A brief description of the problem.
Photographs of the damaged item(s) and packaging where possible.
Where appropriate, we will offer:
A replacement product.
A refund.
A suitable alternative.
Incorrect Orders
If you receive the wrong products or your order is incomplete, please let us know within 48 hours of delivery.
We'll investigate the issue promptly and arrange for any missing or incorrect items to be replaced as quickly as possible.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using your original payment method.
Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
Shipping charges are only refundable where:
The item was faulty.
The wrong item was supplied.
The order was damaged during delivery.
We have agreed that a refund is appropriate.
Items We Cannot Accept for Return
For food safety and quality reasons, we are unable to accept returns of:
Opened beer or beverages.
Products that have been consumed or partially consumed.
Gift vouchers.
Perishable items unless faulty.
Products damaged after delivery through misuse or improper storage.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Best Before Dates
Our beers are carefully brewed to be enjoyed at their best.
Each product includes a clearly marked Best Before date.
Where products are sold with a shorter Best Before period, this will be made clear at the point of purchase.
The Best Before date relates to product quality rather than food safety and does not automatically make a product eligible for a refund.
Cancelling an Order
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
If your order has not yet been dispatched, we'll do our best to cancel it and issue a full refund.
Unfortunately, once an order has been dispatched, it may not be possible to cancel it until it has been delivered.
Exchanges
We do not generally offer direct exchanges through our online shop.
If you would like a different product, we'll usually recommend returning the original item (where eligible) and placing a new order.
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
If products are faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your legal rights.
